Erick Dampier: Heat or Rockets?

September 22, 2010

Erick Dampier has a decision to make: Miami Heat or Houston Rockets?

If I was the 6’11” veteran, I’d go with the Miami Heat. Why play behind an injury prone Center, when you could play for one of the greatest teams in history? I much rather be surrounded by superstars like Wade, LeBron, and Bosh, instead of Kevin Martin and Aaron Brooks.

Plus, he isn’t the youngest player on the floor.. He doesn’t have much time to spend. He should start chasing the rings, and end his career on a successful note.

Stuckey: Pistons Are Best Team On Paper

September 21, 2010

Is Stuckey smoking that sticky-icky? “Last year was tough,” Rodney Stuckey told Dime Magazine. “We were inconsistent. There was no chemistry. We all just have to stay healthy and the sky is the limit for us. On paper, we are the best team in the League. We are deep and athletic.”

Stuckey is a talented player with major potential, while Prince is a baller, but injury prone. Gordon has skills on the offensive end, but that’s about it. Will Bynum is a stud that proved his doubters wrong, but no franchise player. T-Mac is old and washed up. Monroe has potenital, but hasn’t proved much yet.. So, how are they the best team on paper? Hmmm… Source

The new NBA jerseys are lighter, and dry quicker. Now, players won’t have to change their uniform during halftime, since it won’t be as sweaty and wet. Also, this should help players run faster and jump higher. According to Travis Blasingame, the new uniforms are 30% lighter, and dry twice as fast. Source

Carmelo Anthony’s Crew Pushes Denver to trade

September 21, 2010

Carmelo Anthony’s agent, Leon Rose, and other representatives are starting to become more demanding, and want Melo in a new uniform before training camp (next week). On the other side, sources say that the Nuggets are being patient, and have no reason to rush. The New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls are his top two destinations listed. He’d like to pair up with Amare Stoudemire, or Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer. Source
